Privacy notice
Updated 11 October 2026
Osee is a link-in-bio and creator website platform. This notice explains how information is used across its spaces, updates, messaging, forms and marketplace. Your choices determine how your content is shared.
Locations, audio and personalized branding
We store the location text, audio files, logo, header/footer text and navigation preferences you choose for each space. Publishing a location makes that address public. Osee does not request your device’s location merely to create this section; device access is optional and requested only when you choose Use my location. Maps load only after a visitor chooses to show the map or opens directions; the external service then receives the chosen location and network/browser information under its own privacy terms. Do not publish private addresses without permission.
Published audio can be played by visitors, without autoplay. Files, upload metadata and access permissions are handled like other attachments and count towards shared account storage. Branding changes presentation, not who operates Osee or the privacy responsibilities here. Hiding mobile navigation on a connected custom domain does not change data access or remove required disclosures. You can edit settings or unpublish; downloaded or indexed copies may remain elsewhere.
Community preferences and saved items
We store your account’s follows, space likes, saved-item references and their creation times to provide these features. Aggregate follower and like counts are visible on published spaces; this feature does not publish a list of account identities behind those counts. Your Following feed uses the spaces you explicitly follow to select eligible public updates, alongside the limited-page discovery ordering described below. Private messages, form answers and private files are not used to rank this feed.
Your saved collection is private to your signed-in account. Bookmarks store references, not copies of the creator’s files, and access is rechecked when you return. Removed, unpublished or newly restricted items may become unavailable. Following and saving do not give creators access to your private collection. You can remove these preferences using the corresponding controls; necessary security, dispute or legal records may be retained under our retention policy. Creator pins and pinned content are visible only to audiences already permitted to view that content.
File-transfer information
To support larger uploads, we process file names, sizes, detected file types, chunk confirmations, ownership, relevant conversation references and temporary upload status. This supports progress, retries, quota enforcement, access checks and cleanup. Temporary upload bytes count as reserved account capacity until verified completion or confirmed cleanup. Transfer notices in your browser do not mean a recipient has viewed a file. Download progress is handled by your browser; Osee does not infer a completed download merely because its link was clicked.
Multiple spaces and shared account information
When you create additional spaces, Osee links them internally to your account so you can manage them, apply your subscription, calculate combined storage use and maintain security. Profiles, appearance settings and publication choices are managed per space; billing, seller identity and account access remain shared. Different public space names do not provide anonymity from Osee or separation from the account owner’s legal responsibilities.
Osee does not automatically publish a directory linking all of your spaces together. Public profile images, cover photos, handles and summaries may appear in Explore and link to the relevant space. Shared branding, seller disclosures or content may allow visitors to recognize related spaces. Explore uses limited public results and lightweight ordering based on freshness, search relevance and variety; it does not use your private messages, form answers or browsing history for this ranking.
A functional preference remembers the selected dashboard space. Dashboard notifications summarize recent account interactions and store read status; private message text, form answers and buyer addresses are not copied into notification previews. New spaces do not reset shared storage usage or create another free allowance. Unpublishing a space does not delete its files or release storage.
Account recovery
Where email recovery is enabled, we process the submitted email address to send a short-lived, single-use reset link only to the account’s registered address. Public recovery responses do not confirm whether an email has an account. Reset tokens are stored as hashes, expire after 30 minutes, and are invalidated after a successful reset. Network and request counters help prevent abuse. Changing a password through recovery invalidates existing sign-in sessions. Recovery does not remove account restrictions or unpaid charges.
If you have forgotten your email or lost access to it, contact Support. A public profile or submitted ticket alone is not proof of ownership; we will not reveal the private sign-in email or transfer an account based only on that information. Do not send passwords or recovery links to support staff. Email delivery may be unavailable until configured; the recovery page explains available options.
1. Information we handle
Account information includes your name, email, sign-in information, profile and preferences. Content includes text, media, attachments and the visibility settings you choose. We also handle messages, delivery/read activity, reports, form responses, poll submissions, links, interactions, order and invoice information, and records of subscriptions or payment status. Seller payment setup may require account identifiers and protected connection credentials.
Device and service information may include browser/network identifiers, request activity, approximate usage, storage consumption and security records. Signup acceptance records the terms version and time. Payment providers collect the payment details needed for their checkout; do not send payment-card numbers or passwords through posts, messages or forms.
2. Why information is used
We use information to provide accounts and requested features, show your chosen content, deliver communications, process supported orders, track storage and entitlements, prevent abuse, resolve disputes and meet legal requirements. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, this may include providing the service you request, fulfilling legal obligations, proportionate legitimate interests such as security, or consent for optional activities that require it. Optional consent can be withdrawn without making earlier lawful processing invalid.
When you contact Osee Support, we process the name, email, category, subject, description, replies, status and operational assignment needed to answer and manage the request. Signed-in requests are linked to the account. Guest requests receive a private tracking key; the browser may remember the last guest request ID and key on that device for convenience. Authorized support administrators can review, assign, prioritize, reply to and close these requests, with important actions recorded for accountability. Do not submit passwords, one-time codes, API keys, full payment-card details or private conversations.
Storage checkout information
When you choose a paid storage plan, Osee processes your account reference, chosen capacity, authorized INR amount, checkout name, registered email and the phone number required for payment processing. The hosted payment service receives the payment and contact information needed to carry out and verify that transaction, prevent fraud and meet its own obligations. The processor is identified on the checkout page and has its own privacy terms. Enter card credentials, bank passwords, payment PINs and one-time codes only in the official payment flow, not in Osee content, chat or support.
Osee retains necessary transaction references, payment status, authorized price and capacity, verification records and the paid-through date for access, billing support, reconciliation, disputes and legal records. These are not public space content and are not given to Ask Osee. A one-time monthly payment does not enroll you in an automatic mandate or unrelated marketing. Earlier recurring mandates remain associated with their originally authorized processor; changing the new-checkout option does not transfer those mandates. A return page alone is not proof of payment, and closing checkout cannot recall a transaction already authorized with the payment service.
3. Visibility and sharing
Public profiles, public posts, comments, published listings and shared links may be viewed by anyone and found in Explore or external search results. Draft, private and selected-user posts are excluded from public Explore. Public content can be copied by others. Privacy changes restrict future access but cannot retrieve copies already saved.
Conversation participants see their messages and shared files. Read receipts depend on privacy settings. Form creators receive submitted responses and may export them; enabled poll results show aggregated responses. Sellers and buyers receive information needed to fulfil and document their transactions. Sharing personal data with a creator or seller may also be subject to that person’s privacy responsibilities.
Service providers may process information for hosting, delivery, support, security and payments under appropriate arrangements. Authorized personnel may access information when necessary for operation, support, safety or legal compliance. We may disclose information where legally required or to protect rights and safety. This notice does not authorize a creator or seller to reuse your data for unrelated marketing without a lawful basis.
Account storage and paid access
The current Free allowance is 500 MB per account. Basic includes 2 GB for ₹20/month, Starter includes 5 GB for ₹49/month, and Creator includes 20 GB for ₹99/month. Optional extra storage on any paid plan costs ₹5 per additional GB/month. Creator tools, including Lead manager and Media kit, are available on Free and paid accounts with no separate tool fee. Paid storage plans increase the shared storage allowance and remove Osee’s platform ad placements across the account’s spaces. Usage, permissions, safety, availability and external-service setup still apply; tool access is not unlimited AI usage or a promise of external approval.
We calculate combined uploaded and reserved bytes across your spaces, including public, private, draft and retained files, to show usage and prevent uploads above your allowance. An existing free account over 500 MB does not have files automatically deleted, receive an automatic charge, or enter the paid-account overdue/deletion clock because of this allowance change. New uploads are paused until enough storage is freed or a suitable plan is chosen and verified. Existing verified paid periods keep their authorized price and capacity through the paid-through date. Saved authorization records are retained unchanged to verify the exact purchase and eligible continuous renewals; a future new purchase or plan change requires the displayed terms to be authorized.
4. Cookies, device permissions, measurement and ads
Essential session cookies support sign-in, security and the selected workspace. Osee does not request camera, microphone or other device access merely to make pages faster. A compatible browser asks for a device permission only when you start a feature that needs it, such as an audio/video call or file selection; you can deny or later revoke that permission in browser settings. Page activity and pseudonymous browser/network identifiers help estimate views, interactions and abuse; these measures are not guaranteed to be anonymous. Storage usage counts uploaded file sizes.
Where platform advertising is enabled, free spaces may display ads and the advertising service may process identifiers, cookies and visitor activity, subject to applicable disclosures and consent choices. Paid creator spaces do not display Osee’s platform ad placements. Third-party embeds, destination sites and creator promotions may collect information independently; review their notices. Optional advertising or tracking must not be activated without required controls.
Osee may display platform updates and promotional announcements inside the dashboard. There is no dashboard-wide opt-out; individual notices can be dismissed. This does not subscribe you to email, SMS or push marketing or authorize optional advertising tracking. Applicable privacy and marketing rights remain available through Support. A local preference remembers your choice of light or night appearance. Authorized administrators may review content for safety, restrict accounts and record their actions in an audit log. Recent authenticated activity supports account security and operational reports. Standard manual console views do not expose private conversation bodies or form responses; separately authorized administrative integrations can access private records as explained below.
Group conversations and call alerts
Groups store their title, owner, invitations, membership status and messages. Invitees see the group name before accepting; accepted members see participant display names and messages from their joining time. Invitations are limited to the owner’s accepted contacts. Leaving, removal or closure prevents future group access but does not erase copies already seen or retained records. Owners may remove members. Groups are not end-to-end encrypted and must not be used to bypass blocks.
When Osee is open, the app checks for incoming calls and can display an invitation or play a ringtone after browser interaction. This does not enable push notifications or record audio. Microphone and camera capture start only when you choose to start or join a call and grant browser permission. Call setup uses temporary connection descriptions, participant identifiers and presence timestamps; these expire and are cleaned up. Osee does not record call media. Direct connections can disclose network addresses to participants; a relay, where configured, processes media traffic to connect networks.
5. Forms, shops and direct contact
Only submit information a creator or seller needs. Ask the recipient about their purpose, retention and privacy contact before providing sensitive details. Form responses and marketplace order details are not public posts. Exported response files and delivered goods leave Osee’s access controls; the recipient is responsible for lawful handling. Sellers must not add buyers to unrelated marketing lists without an appropriate legal basis.
Published media kits
Media kits store the draft introduction, selected work references and business contact details a creator chooses. Saving a draft does not publish it. A creator must explicitly publish a kit; the public view includes only its selected eligible public work and contacts deliberately chosen for publication. Private statistics, messages, form answers, order details and private content are not included. Parent-space publication, account access and selected-item visibility are checked again when the public kit is requested; unpublished or newly private material is not used as a fallback.
Visitors may view, share, download or copy a published kit and its chosen contact details. Only include information you are entitled and willing to disclose. Revoking publication prevents future platform access but cannot retrieve visitor copies or outside caches. Media kit management is available on Free and paid accounts without a separate feature charge, with ordinary account, safety, storage and availability controls; these tools do not promise reach, sales or unlimited external services.
Private lead management
Free and paid creators can explicitly import selected responses from their own forms into a private lead manager without a separate feature charge. We store the creator, space, source-response reference, progress stage, labels and notes. The manager reads the information the respondent deliberately submitted to that form; it does not obtain the respondent’s private account email or inbox data. Importing does not publish the response, send an external message or share it with Ask Osee. Creators can update or remove lead records and export a filtered file; removing a lead does not delete its source form response. An unavailable or deleted source response is not returned as lead content. Exported files leave Osee’s access controls and become the creator’s responsibility.
Creators must explain their purpose for collecting and managing inquiries, use only necessary data, respect applicable rights and retention requirements, and obtain any required separate permission for promotional contact. A form response is not blanket marketing consent. Do not put secrets, unnecessary sensitive information or unrelated private conversations into lead notes. Paid plan expiry does not remove authenticated ownership checks or necessary export/removal access.
Support evidence and locations
Support offers public help articles and local guide search before you submit a request. Reading or searching those guides does not automatically create a ticket, send your entered question to the AI assistant, or attach your account content. Self-help is optional; direct safety, privacy, urgent billing and ownership-verified recovery requests remain available. Ordinary website security and necessary activity processing still apply. Keep an existing request reference and private guest tracking key safe when checking replies.
When you contact Support, we process the contact information, request text, links, screenshots and short videos you choose to submit to investigate and respond. Attachments are private to the request owner, anyone holding its private tracking key, and authorized support staff. They are not published to a space or automatically shared with the AI assistant. Review evidence before sending and hide unrelated personal information, passwords, one-time codes and payment secrets. Authorized staff may use bulk queue actions and shared replies; access and administrative actions are recorded for accountability. Requests are reviewed one by one, so responses may sometimes be delayed without removing applicable complaint or privacy rights.
A published location can include your chosen public address and precise map coordinates. Visitors can open its map and directions. Map images and embedded maps contact external services when you open them; those services receive network information and the requested area or location. Device location is requested only if you choose Use my location and grant permission. Choosing a point does not publish it until you publish your space. Do not use this feature to disclose a home or another person’s location without permission.
6. Security and international processing
We use HTTPS, access controls and authenticated encryption at rest for direct and group message text, group titles, chat attachment filenames, messaging report explanations and stored call connection descriptions. Messages are decrypted by Osee for permitted conversation features; this is not end-to-end encryption. Participant references, timestamps, delivery/read status and other operational records remain available to the service. Private attachments use protected storage and participant access checks, not client-held encryption keys. Existing records are upgraded in bounded batches; older protected backups may retain the earlier format until their retention period ends. No service can guarantee absolute security or that uploaded files are free of malware. Keep credentials private and report suspected misuse.
Depending on service-provider and recipient locations, information may be processed outside your country. Applicable transfer requirements and safeguards must be met; mandatory notices or provider details can be requested through Support. We do not promise that all information remains in one country.
7. Retention and deletion
Information is retained as needed to provide the service and address legal, payment, dispute and security requirements. If a paid storage period ends without a verified renewal and the account has not returned to an eligible Free plan, public spaces and creator tools are paused. The dashboard keeps billing and public-space export available, shows the unpaid date and gives advance visibility of the deletion date. The account becomes restricted after six months overdue. At eight months overdue, the operational account, creator spaces and stored creator files are scheduled for permanent removal unless payment has been restored or retention is required for a dispute, security matter or law. Being over the new Free allowance alone does not begin these paid-account dates.
Permanent operational deletion removes active profile and creator content and replaces identifying account details with a deleted-account record. Transaction, fraud-prevention, audit, legal-hold and protected backup records may remain only for applicable purposes and retention periods. Unpublishing alone does not delete an account. Files removed from a post or section may remain privately retained and count towards storage until cleaned up. Deletion requests may require identity verification. Ask Support about the retention and deletion arrangements relevant to your information.
8. Choices, rights and complaints
You can edit your profile, control post audiences, manage messages and read receipts, pause links and forms, and export your public space. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. Rights are subject to applicable conditions; we will not require you to give up mandatory protections.
Use Osee Support for privacy requests or complaints and include only the details needed to identify the issue. Accounts are intended for adults aged 18 or older; report suspected child accounts or harmful content. Operator and designated privacy/grievance contact details must be finalized before commercial launch. Material changes to this notice will be communicated as required.
9. Optional AI suggestions
With your permission, Ask Osee sends the questions you choose to submit and up to six recent messages from this AI conversation to an external AI processing service. You can separately choose to include only your published public display name, bio and category. The server verifies that this profile belongs to your account and remains published and publicly available. Draft and unsaved profile changes are excluded; an unpublished or hidden profile is not used as a fallback. The assistant does not retrieve inbox messages, posts, listings, forms, form responses, files, orders or analytics, and cannot modify your space. Do not type or paste private content, passwords, payment credentials or sensitive personal information into an AI question: text you deliberately submit is sent after your opt-in.
Osee does not save these AI conversations in its database; closing the assistant, switching spaces or reloading clears the browser-memory conversation. A request already sent cannot be recalled by closing the panel or unpublishing your profile. External processing is not a guarantee of zero retention: service security, abuse-monitoring, contractual or legal retention may apply. Necessary processing details can be requested through Support. Turning off optional public-profile context does not remove profile information already included in earlier conversation messages; use Start fresh to omit that history. Request counters are retained for usage and abuse limits without saving prompt text. Suggestions may be inaccurate; review them before use. AI is optional and is not required to manage your space.
Administrative integrations and delegated access
The platform owner may explicitly authorize a trusted external administrative system with selected permissions for public records, account information, private content, conversations and attachments, form responses, support requests, order records or audit metadata. No external system is connected automatically. Private-data permissions require a separate acknowledgement when a key is created. These permissions concern necessary platform administration, support, safety and lawful operational purposes; they are not a creator’s permission to browse another user’s private information.
Access uses expiring, revocable credentials stored as hashes. Each request rechecks the credential, its selected permissions and the owner’s current administrative access. Read activity records the credential identifier, requested resource type, selected record identifiers where relevant, and a hash and length of the declared purpose, rather than copying the private record body or raw search text into the audit log. Write operations preview exact records, require a separate confirmation request, expire after five minutes and record the resulting changes. Short-lived operation payloads are encrypted at rest and cleared after approval or on subsequent cleanup after expiry. Existing limited suggestion-only keys do not gain these permissions.
Permitted integrations can receive retained message text and private files; message encryption is not end-to-end encryption and does not prevent authorized administrative access. Messages already unsent or permanently erased are not reconstructed. Osee’s removed admin AI does not process this information. An external system’s subsequent copying, retention, transfers or AI processing is a separate disclosure that the operator must assess, restrict and lawfully explain before connecting it. Revoking a key stops future API access but cannot retrieve information already copied outside Osee. Password hashes, recovery credentials, payment connection secrets, raw storage credentials and live call connection signals are not returned by this API.
Integration delete operations place eligible records in recoverable administrative trash rather than permanently erasing them. Trashed accounts are disabled and their public material becomes unavailable; trashed content is excluded from public access, and trashed conversations and files are unavailable through ordinary conversation and file access. Creator editing views can still contain retained moderated records. Retained files still count towards account storage. Restoration is possible only while the underlying record remains retained and no conflicting change prevents it; it does not reverse a sender’s unsend, permanent deletion, billing obligations or a separate restriction. Necessary audit and legal-retention records remain subject to the retention arrangements above. Contact Osee Support to question an administrative action or exercise applicable rights.
Owner-approved operational email
The owner may manually approve support or essential operational emails using the platform’s send-only connection. Each preview shows the exact sender, registered recipients and message; approval requires the owner’s current password and expires after five minutes. This tool cannot read a mailbox or subscribe recipients to marketing. Selected email addresses and approved message text are sent to the mail delivery service, not to Ask Osee. Short-lived email draft text is encrypted at rest and cleared after a send attempt, or expired drafts are cleaned up on subsequent preparation. Minimal approval and delivery records are retained for security and accountability; delivery acceptance is not a guarantee of inbox receipt. Interrupted or unconfirmed sends are not automatically repeated. The integration API does not send email. These controls do not remove applicable notice, objection or privacy rights.
Regional price estimates
Platform price estimates may use browser language and time zone, or an explicitly trusted regional hint when configured. These are approximate, do not determine your nationality, and can be changed using the currency selector. Your chosen currency may be saved locally on the device. Osee retrieves conversion data server-side without sending private account details or visitor network addresses to the conversion service. Estimates are not a promise of the charged currency: checkout’s stated currency, taxes and total control, and bank fees or regional availability may differ.
